Biography

My name is Jaclyn Harvey and I am from Ft. Worth, Texas.

I grew up in the HEB area where I attend school K-12 grade. After receiving my high school diploma I went to Texas State University where I originally majored in Education.
I decided I did not want to teach Elementary and decided to change majors and graduate with a History degree. Also, I had to help pay for my own college, so graduating a year earlier and not having to student teach was a plus!

After I graduated, I moved home and began substituting in the area. I quickly realized that high school was not where I wanted to be, and that my heart was actually in Elementary/ Middle School. I was a substitute for two years when I finally received a job in the Metroplex! Now, I am an 8th grade Math/English teacher and also Student Council sponsor.
